How do I get started?
Just download the app and open it. No account, email, or sign-up is needed. You can start a conversation immediately.
What is OpenClaw?
OpenClaw is an open-source AI agent platform that runs on your Mac. When you connect the Chitin app to your OpenClaw server, you get unlimited, fully private conversations that never leave your local network.
How do I connect to OpenClaw?
In the app, go to Settings and switch to OpenClaw mode. Then, on your Mac, open Terminal and run openclaw qr. Scan the QR code that appears with your iPhone or iPad to connect.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the Settings app on your device, tap your Apple ID at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find Chitin and tap Cancel Subscription.
The avatar isn't speaking
First, make sure your device volume is turned up and not muted. Try closing and reopening the app. If you're using cloud mode, check that you have an active internet connection. If the problem persists, contact us at [email protected].
How do I switch voices?
Go to Settings, then Voice. The free tier includes 4 built-in voices. Upgrading to Chitin Plus unlocks all 13+ voices with different styles and personalities.
